Welcome to Nirécol's website! We are committed to protecting your personal information and your right to privacy. If you have any questions or concerns about this privacy policy, or our practices regarding your personal information, please contact us.
When you visit nirecol.fr and use our services, you trust us with your personal information. We take your privacy seriously. In this privacy policy, we explain what information we collect, how we use it, and what rights you have in relation to it. If you do not agree with any terms in this privacy policy, please discontinue use of our site and services.
1. What Information Do We Collect?
In Short: We collect personal information that you provide to us.
We collect personal information that you voluntarily provide when registering for services, requesting information about us or our services, participating in activities on the site, or otherwise contacting us. Depending on the context, this may include your name, email address, mobile number, and password.
All passwords are stored securely using hashing algorithms.
If you purchase a premium subscription, we also process limited billing information (such as your subscription status, plan, purchase history, and the transaction references returned by our payment processor). Your payment card details are entered directly with our payment processor and are not stored on our servers.
2. How Do We Use Your Information?
In Short: We process your information for legitimate business interests, to provide our services, to comply with legal obligations, and/or with your consent.
We use personal information collected via our services for business purposes, including the following:
- To facilitate account creation, authentication, and user identification.
- To manage user accounts and provide support.
- To enforce our terms, conditions, and policies, and to comply with legal and regulatory requirements.
3. Will Your Information Be Shared With Anyone?
In Short: We do not share your information with third parties in ways not disclosed in this privacy policy.
We only share information with your consent, to comply with laws, to provide services to you, to protect your rights, or to fulfill legitimate business obligations.
We use Stripe as our third-party payment processor for premium subscription payments. The information needed to process your payment is shared with and processed by Stripe under its own privacy policy and security standards.
Our optional AI tutor is powered by third-party AI providers. Messages you send as a Plus subscriber are processed by Anthropic (Claude API), which does not use them to train its models; messages sent through the free demo are processed by Google (Gemini API) and may be used by Google to improve its services — please avoid including personal or sensitive details in your messages. We store only usage counts to enforce daily limits, never the content of your conversations.
4. How Do We Keep Your Information Safe?
In Short: We aim to protect your personal information through organizational and technical security measures.
We implement appropriate technical and organizational security measures designed to protect the personal information we process, including encryption and secure storage techniques. However, no electronic transmission over the internet or information storage technology can be guaranteed to be 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee complete security against unauthorized access or misuse.
5. How Long Do We Keep Your Information?
In Short: We keep your information only as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy, unless a longer retention period is required by law.
When we no longer have a legitimate business need to process your personal information, we will delete or anonymize it, or securely store and isolate it until deletion is possible.
6. What Are Your Privacy Rights?
In Short: You may review, change, or terminate your account at any time.
If you are a resident of the European Economic Area and believe we are unlawfully processing your personal information, you may also have the right to complain to your local data protection supervisory authority.
If you want to review or change the information in your account or terminate your account, you can log in to your account and update your details, or contact us using the contact link on the website.
Upon your request to terminate your account, we will deactivate or delete your account and information from active databases, subject to any data we must retain to prevent fraud, troubleshoot problems, support investigations, enforce our Terms of Use, or comply with legal requirements.
7. Updates to This Policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. The updated version will be indicated by an updated revised date and will become effective as soon as it is accessible. We encourage you to review this page regularly.
